How to contact us
If you know of a situation of illegal cruelty to animals, please contact the appropriate authorities. If you are in Toronto, they are:
- the Toronto Police
- the Toronto Humane Society
- the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
Freedom for Animals does not have the legal authority to stop cruelty to animals; the authorities do.
If you are looking for information about other groups' activities, please contact them directly for the most current and accurate information.
There are three ways to contact us:
- Show up at one of our events listed in the calendar on the left side of our home page.
- Phone us at 416-699-6668. Please note that the volunteer who handles our phone line is extremely busy working with rescued animals and may not be able to return your call right away. (And if you don't leave your phone number, she definitely will not be able to return your call!) Please phone only on weekdays during reasonable hours. Please use other contact methods instead if at all possible. Also, our budget does not allow for lengthy long-distance calls.
- Send snail mail to: Freedom for Animals/Kensington Market Stray Cat Rescue, 2191 Queen St. E., Unit 99, Toronto, ON M4E 1E6, Canada.
Unfortunately, we do not currently have a volunteer to handle emails.
