Kensington Market Stray Cat Rescue

The Kensington Market Stray Cat Rescue has saved dozens of cats and kittens. We give priority to cats in greatest need—young kittens, pregnant cats, and those who are injured or sick.

Our foster homes give the cats and kittens a chance to learn social skills. They get lots of love from their foster humans and other cats in the home, as they recover from the harmful effects of life on the streets. If you'd like to provide a foster home, please contact our cat rescue co-ordinator, Suzanne, at 416-591-5120.

Donations are always needed to pay for veterinary care, food, and supplies. You can donate securely online using the donation button at the top right of this page, or mail a Canadian cheque to the address above, payable to Freedom for Animals.

None of the cats currently in our foster homes are ready for adoption. We'd like to thank the people who have helped find homes for the cats previously listed on this page.
